Terms and Conditions for The Science of Happiness & Sovereignty

Effective Date: January 25, 2025 to March 8, 2025

1. INTRODUCTION

These Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") govern your use of The Science of Happiness & Sovereignty (the "Course") provided by Emma Seppälä ("us," "we," or "our"). By purchasing and participating in the Course, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. COURSE DESCRIPTION

The Science of Happiness & Sovereignty is designed to provide participants with insights into how to live a life of greater fulfillment, purpose, and empowerment.

3. PAYMENT & FEES

The total Course Fees ("Fees") are:

• $599 (full price)

• $499 (early bird fee 2)

• $399 (early bird fee 1)

Payment methods accepted include credit card and PayPal.

4. ACCESS AND EXPIRATION

Participants will have access to the Course materials for a minimum of 60 days after purchase. After this period, access will expire, and materials will no longer be available.

5. USER CONDUCT

As a participant, you agree to conduct yourself respectfully and professionally. Prohibited behaviors include, but are not limited to:

• Harassment

• Spamming

• Sharing confidential information

7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

You agree that the Materials, the Course, the Website, and any other Services provided by Emma Seppälä are the property of Emma Seppälä, including all copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, patents, and other intellectual property ("Company IP"). You agree not to reproduce or distribute the Company IP without express written permission.

8. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter personally. If unsuccessful, the dispute will be submitted to binding arbitration in Connecticut.

9. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of Connecticut. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of Connecticut.

10. AMENDMENT PROCESS

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. You will be notified of the changes via email.

11. REFUND POLICY

Refunds are only awarded after careful review and can only be requested via coursehelp@emmaseppala.com within 7 days of purchase. To initiate a refund, you must contact us at coursehelp@emmaseppala.com within this time frame, providing your order details and reason for the request. Refund requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Factors considered may include, but are not limited to, the extent of course completion, engagement with course materials, and the nature of the request. If a refund is approved, it will be processed within 30 business days, and the funds will be returned to the original payment method. After 7 days from the date of purchase, all sales are final, and no refunds will be issued.

12. SEVERABILITY AND ENTIRE AGREEMENT

If any part or sub-part of this Agreement is held invalid or unenforceable by a court of law or competent arbitrator, the remaining parts and sub-parts will be enforced to the maximum extent possible. This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the Parties with respect to the Course.

13. ASSIGNMENT

This Agreement may not be assigned, sold, leased, or otherwise transferred in whole or part by you. Should this Agreement be assigned by Emma Seppälä, the rights and liabilities will bind and inure to any assignees.

14. FORCE MAJEURE

We are not liable for any failure to perform due to causes beyond our reasonable control including, but not limited to, acts of God, acts of civil authorities, acts of military authorities, riots, embargoes, acts of nature and natural disasters.
